25,000? That is a little absurd.
So I'm breaking the rules of Theme Thursday - sue me! I did not take this picture and it was not taken after the theme was announced....but to me, these are beautiful things. They are my neices and nephew (disregard the boy to the far right), but how awesome is this picture? They've all got their shades on - and they are ice fishing. Ice fishing brings back soooooooo many memories for me. I can remember making a whole day of it - just eating non stop and checking the flags every once in a while. Maybe next winter, I'll get home and go with the fam!

That's less than 100 hours. Crazy....saying I'm pumped is an understatement.
So I headed to D-town this weekend. Ghetto. 'Nuff said.

Anyway - I had a great time with Sass and company. Went to Greektown on Friday and Saturday we ran the Martian Marathon (right near 8 Mile).

We decided to do the half-marathon because neither of us have trained much and I've had some problems with my knee. Here's my results - which I am soooooo psyched about...
Place: 174 out of 559 (7th in age group)
Time: 1:54:04
Mile pace: 8:43
Very satisfied.
So look at how nasty we are....but we just ran 13 miles - what do you expect?

Headed to Royal Oaks in the evening. Pretty cool bar - my droopy eyes got the best of me, but you'll have that. Made it back to the 'burgh in less than 4 hours on a BEAUTIFUL day!!
So tator tots are now 50 years old. That means my parents were 6 when they started making them. I wonder when they first had them. I love tator tots - it is one form of potato that I don't eat enough of. Great memories of elementary school. I like them crunch and squishy...I'm easy to please.

Ok, that was uncalled for....but look what I found.

Sadly, I missed the dog show this weekend, but it is on my calendar for next year!
So another magazine has entered the mix of Maxim, Rolling Stone, EW, Cargo, yadda yadda yadda.

I am going to need two mailboxes.
